LIVE A LIFE THAT'S CONTAGIOUS

"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! LIVE A LIFE THAT'S CONTAGIOUS


Quick story time: By now, you've seen this written a bunch of different places on my page, my bio, this piece of wood too haha. A lot of people might read it and not think much of it but these words have stuck with me the day I first heard them. So, let me tell you about it.


After youth group one Wednesday night, my youth pastor and I had to chat about an event I asked him to speak at. At that time, I was leading a Christian Athletes club at my high school. It was during a causal conversation when he said to live a life that's contagious. He went on to say how we can lead others to know who Jesus is and how we can represent Christ to the best of our ability. They rolled off his tongue and I had to write it down, I never wanted to forget them. He went onto saying that people will see how you live so differently from the world and how you carry a greater joy than the things they're using to fill themselves with. They would see how you live and want what you have with Jesus. That just by living your life, set apart from the world and truly following Jesus wholeheartedly, they would see it and be drawn to it. That living a life for Jesus is living a life that's contagious to the greatest way of living. A life fully submitted to the One who created you and walking in a freedom no one on earth can ever strip from you.
